[Lord Garvis]

"Those are two things I've seldom been called! Thank you; after you are concluded with your guests here, you really ought to get on that conspiracy to murder you." Garvis sits down, and looks out to sea. He throws a rock every minute or two to keep himself busy.

[Gabriel]

Gabriel takes this all in through some silent observation, before shrugging one shoulder and gesturing towards Garvis with a smirk.

"See? A little long-winded, sure, but at least he can get to a point. You two should be taking notes."

[Tammy]

"What!"

Tammy looks slightly affronted.

"I am always completely direct and to the point in everything I do sir!"

Folding her legs beneath her, Tammy straightens up and tosses her hair back.

"Now, whats this about a murder plot, a lady trying to kill Elspeth? I thought that all the sneaky scoundrels were always men, no offense intended Gabriel, and Garvis, well you can take that however you want. Didn't we just throw away a murdering traitor into Anna Sophia's dungeon a little while ago? Are there more murdering traitors in our midst? Did they get to Monzo? I think someone should start talking!"

[Elspeth]

Elspeth's lip twitches in the suggestion of a half smile.
"Good master Gabriel, I am at all times exactly as forthright as I wish to be."

She glances to Tammy with a sigh. "The man we captured was the mastermind behind a conspiracy to kill me. The woman referenced is his second, and the only member involved by choice and not through duplicitous oaths. To be honest, however, I do not feel that she requires my immediate attention. Her hands are tied as far as killing me is concerned, a crucial link to the only actual assassin has been...intercepted. Further I believe the individuals who were not invited to help take Doyle are hot on her trail, and letting them have her might sooth their wounded pride a bit."

[Lord Garvis]

"If you ask me, their pride could do with wounding. But it is your life, your villain, and your choice. Let us hope that motley and this woman, both begrudging you, do not strike a bargain."

[Elspeth]

Elspeth's smile is both wry and bitter.
"And wouldn't that be a pretty picture? I'm aware it is a gamble. We shall see how my luck runs."
